Pastor Dr Solomon Olukayode Abe

Solomon Abe was born to Christian parents of The Apostolic Church, Nigeria. He is fifty years married to Deaconness Susan Lola Abe and blessed with four adult children and many grandchildren.

He attended Government College, Ibadan and Abeokuta Grammar School for his Secondary and Higher School Certificate, HSC. He had a stint of tertiary education at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He studied at Blackburn College, UK to become a Chartered Textile Technologist, CTEX. He also attended the University of Manchester, Institute of Technology and Science, UK, to obtain an MBA degree. He attended Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, now Philadelphia University and City University, Los Angeles, and obtained a DBA degree. He also obtained PhD, in Missiology at The Community Bible Seminary, Abeokuta, Nigeria. He studied at the International Institute of Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy, Ota, Nigeria.

He was a lecturer at Kaduna Polytechnic. He is a seasoned administrator having been the Managing Director and CEO of Kayus Engineering Nigeria LTD for forty- five years and Director in a few other companies. He was Rotary International District Governor, District 9120, Nigeria, 1986/87. He was President of the Bible Society of Nigeria, from 2003 to 2011 and is currently Trustee for Life of the Bible Society of Nigeria.

He has been in church eldership since 1977. A versatile preacher and teacher of the word of God, Solomon Abe loves to lead youths to Christ believing strongly in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.

He is a Chaplain and family counsellor. He pastors at The Apostolic Church, Los Angeles.
